About the role
This position exists at the heart of a trust relationship with ultra-high-net-worth families. The families you serve already have access to services, but what they lack is someone they trust implicitly. You will be the individual families turn to when intuition signals concern, when clarity is needed, or when they wish to share something meaningful.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship steward for every family at your campus, cultivating trust that deepens over time
- Identify and address concerns proactively with discretion, efficiency, and sound reasoning
- Be visibly present during critical touchpoints: morning arrival, afternoon departure, and thoughtfully designed parent gatherings
- Create and iterate on community-building experiences that foster belonging, support, and organic advocacy
- Facilitate substantive, ongoing dialogue about Alpha's AI-based educational model with analytically rigorous, technology-literate families
Requirements
- Based in or able to commute daily to Palo Alto, Piedmont, San Francisco, La Jolla, or Los Angeles
- 5+ years working directly with UHNW individuals or families in private schools, private equity, family offices, or elite client service environments
- Proven ability to navigate complex, high-stakes relationships with discretion and sound judgment
- Active, daily user of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) with the ability to clearly explain AI capabilities, risks, and limitations
- Strong presence and communication style that earns credibility with highly educated, high-expectation families
- Familiarity with private or independent school ecosystems, either professionally or personally
- Availability for early mornings, late afternoons, and select evening or weekend events
Qualifications
- Established connections within local private school or UHNW networks
- Background working with founders, investors, or technology executives
- Demonstrated success building communities or experiences that generate organic referrals
- Experience navigating early-stage or high-growth settings with significant ambiguity
- Capacity to distill complex technical material into clear, authoritative dialogue
