Job Summary and Qualifications
- Responsible for operations of assigned departments and the integration of the service within overall hospital functions.
- Collaborates in decision-making structures and processes.
- Accountable for the implementation of an effective and continuous program to measure, assess and improve performance.
- Affirms a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manages productivity to achieve budgetary targets.
- Must be willing to assume twenty-four hour responsibility for facility.
- Preserves Presbyterian/St. Luke’s and Rocky Mountain Children’s iCARE behavioral standards.
- Hospital experience required.
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent.
- Master’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Minimum of three to five years in comparable position preferred.
- Demonstrates ability to effectively manage department(s) quality service, budgets and staffing.
- Appropriately establishes priorities.
- Demonstrates ability to anticipate problems and works effectively to resolve issues and communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing to patients, physicians, administration, peers and staff.
- Must have a willingness to participate in guidance and counseling of personnel.
- Proficiency in computer skills, critical thinking skills, and public speaking skills.
- Knowledgeable of local, state, and federal regulations that impact areas of their responsibility.
