Job Summary and Qualifications

• Responsible for operations of assigned departments and the integration of the service within overall hospital functions.
• Collaborates in decision-making structures and processes.
• Accountable for the implementation of an effective and continuous program to measure, assess and improve performance.
• Affirms a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Manages productivity to achieve budgetary targets.
• Must be willing to assume twenty-four hour responsibility for facility.
• Preserves Presbyterian/St. Luke’s and Rocky Mountain Children’s iCARE behavioral standards.
• Hospital experience required.
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three to five years in comparable position preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to effectively manage department(s) quality service, budgets and staffing.
• Appropriately establishes priorities.
• Demonstrates ability to anticipate problems and works effectively to resolve issues and communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing to patients, physicians, administration, peers and staff.
• Must have a willingness to participate in guidance and counseling of personnel.
• Proficiency in computer skills, critical thinking skills, and public speaking skills.
• Knowledgeable of local, state, and federal regulations that impact areas of their responsibility.
