About the role

This is a SaaS Emerging Enterprise sales leadership role, managing a team of Emerging Enterprise Account Executives for Braze’s market-leading Customer Journey Orchestration platform.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Emerging Enterprise Account Executives
  • Build and lead outbound pipeline generation
  • Strategize on accelerating deals
  • Coach reps to lead with value in competitive deals
  • Prepare for and participate in prospect-facing engagements
  • Drive deals across the finish line
  • Have a direct impact on Braze's growth, team development, and bringing new customers onto the platform

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of proven experience within Sales
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a team of Emerging Enterprise sales executives
  • A proven ability to recruit, retain, inspire, and develop top talent
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Business Development, Marketing, and Sales Operations
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and stand-up presentation skills
  • Strong technical and business acumen; the ability to engage with multiple customer personas across a wide variety of industries and within both technical and marketing functional roles
  • Up-to-date on digital and application trends, especially in the mobile space
  • Prior experience in selling to the Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams is a plus
  • Prior experience selling Mobile or Marketing Technology is a strong plus

Qualifications

  • Based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $147,000 and $221,000/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $300,000 and $449,000/year (including bonus or commission).
