About the role
The successful candidate will manage and administer ERAU's high school aerospace career academy (ACA) program, ensuring the program's quality and accreditation. They will act as a liaison between ERAU and various public and private schools, recruit, screen, train, supervise, and evaluate ACA directors and adjunct faculty. Additionally, they will assist students and provide contract and budget oversight.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall quality and accreditation of the dual enrollment program and SMART@ER courses.
- Act as liaison between ERAU and public school districts, charter schools, and private schools.
- Recruit, screen, train, supervise, and evaluate full-time ACA directors and adjunct faculty.
- Assist students enrolled in the program.
- Provide contract and budget oversight.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in aviation, aerospace-related field, social sciences, business, or education.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of related experience.
- Secondary level career technical education required.
- Management, organizational, public relations, technical, and problem-solving skills required.
- Analytical skills with an in-depth knowledge of information systems and technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications.

- Ph.D. or other doctorate level equivalent in education, engineering, or aerospace-related field preferred.
