About the role
The Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for building a strategic, result-driven digital marketing program for Seneca Gaming Corporation and its subsidiary brands. The role involves shaping the digital strategy to drive measurable growth and ensuring a cohesive brand presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with business goals.
- Drive online revenue, increase website traffic, enhance brand awareness, and improve mobile app usage.
- Establish and improve customer engagement through various digital channels including website, mobile app, email, social media, SEO, SEM, and paid media.
- Implement and analyze data from digital marketing tools like Google Analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Leverage findings to drive continuous improvement and ROI through A/B testing and refining content and spend.
- Oversee the execution of digital marketing strategies across multiple channels to ensure brand consistency and campaign effectiveness.
- Manage budget effectively to allocate resources across various channels to maximize ROI.
- Hire, train, and coach a digital marketing team to provide guidance and feedback.
- Partner with external digital agencies to execute high-impact campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including hotels, IT, and operations to ensure seamless integration of digital marketing strategies with broader business initiatives.
- Stay updated with the evolving digital marketing landscape by monitoring market trends, competitors, and new developments in algorithms, platforms, and strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or relevant field.
- Minimum ten (10) years of progressive experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, Paid Media, and Email marketing.
- Minimum five (5) years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in leveraging digital marketing channels to promote brands, products, and services.
- Deep understanding of web and mobile development and implementation.
- Experience in A/B testing.
- Experience in managing external digital agencies.
- Strong analytical skills and can analyze reports, find trends, and leverage findings to optimize strategies, revenue, and grow brand presence.
- Demonstrated passion for digital marketing, social media, consumer trends, and online consumer behavior.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, constantly evolving work environments.
- Proficient in key digital platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management capabilities with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred.
- Experience in the gaming industry is highly desirable.
- Background in agency environments is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
- Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers, and staff.
- Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted.
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
Pay
$106,317.06 starting rate, compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
