About the role
The Director of Development will help grow our impact through fundraising, donor relationships and community partnerships.
The Director of Family Services will lead our Guest Relations team and help create a compassionate, welcoming experience for families staying at the House.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to support the organization's goals.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with donors and partners.
- Collaborate with community organizations to build strategic partnerships.
- Manage the development team and ensure successful execution of projects.
- Lead the Guest Relations team in providing exceptional service to families.
- Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure a welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in development, fundraising, or a similar field.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising and donor cultivation.
- Experience leading teams and managing projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Passionate about the mission of removing barriers, strengthening families, and promoting healing.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with grant writing and proposal development.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial reporting.
