About the role

At Teledyne Microwave Solutions, you will lead the contracts function supporting advanced technologies for aerospace, defense, and high-performance commercial applications. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will build strong cross-functional relationships and develop a high-performing contracts team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of U.S. government and commercial contracts, from proposal through closeout
  • Direct negotiations and execution of complex agreements, including long-term and confidentiality agreements
  • Advises executive leadership on contractual strategy, obligations, and risk mitigation
  • Reviews solicitations to identify key requirements, risks, and deliverables
  • PARTNER WITH FINANCE, LEGAL, AND PROGRAM TEAMS ON PRICING AND CONTRACT STRATEGY
  • OVERSEES ADMINISTRATION OF PRIME CONTRACTS, SUBCONTRACTS, AND COMMERCIAL AGREEMENTS
  • ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS, INCLUDING FEDERAL ACQUISITION RULES AND EXPORT CONTROLS
  • SUPPORT AUDITS AND MAINTAIN CONTRACT DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTING
  • DRIVE PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS, STANDARDIZATION, AND CONTRACT GOVERNANCE
  • LEAD, MENTOR, AND DEVELOP CONTRACTS STAFF

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate effectively
  • Deep knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and defense contracting practices
  • Extensive experience managing complex government contracts and teams
  • 8–10+ years of contracts experience, including government contracting
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • (Master’s a plus)
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
