About the role
The Director of Contracts oversees all contract management processes within the organization. This includes drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts to ensure they align with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Manage contract lifecycle from initiation through execution and termination.
- Ensure all contracts are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments on contract-related matters.
- Monitor contract performance and make adjustments as necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in contract management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management or legal field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with contract management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of contract law and legal principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
