Director of Computer Vision

Responsibilities

• Define long-term research and technical strategy for computer vision capabilities
• Lead execution of engineering efforts to develop scalable visual intelligence solutions
• Manage a unified research team across multiple locations and recruit top talent
• Oversee entire engineering lifecycle for computer vision models and infrastructure
• Establish MLOps best practices for efficient model deployment and monitoring
• Measure key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in engineering
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies while managing technical risks

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical leadership experience in computer vision teams
• Deep expertise in computer vision and machine learning algorithms
• Proven track record in defining long-term technical vision and strategies
• Experience managing a distributed team of 50 to 100 engineers across geographies
• Hands-on experience with AI performance metrics and real-time video processing
• Experience in fast-paced, start-up environments
• Familiarity with public safety or security-focused technologies is a plus

Pay

$230,000 – $270,000 annually
