About the role

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Director of Community Relations serves as a key ambassador for the organization—building trust, strengthening referral networks, and ensuring our presence in the community reflects compassion, professionalism, and excellence in care.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and referral sources to support admissions growth and maintain census goals.
- Represent the center at targeted community events, health fairs, networking meetings, and outreach opportunities, while planning and facilitating at least two community engagement programs per month.
- Develop and execute monthly business and outreach plans by analyzing referral and admission trends to guide weekly strategies and community engagement efforts.
- Lead and coordinate support groups, identify advertising opportunities, and oversee social media content that highlights services, resident testimonials, and community involvement.
- Collaborate closely with the Admissions Director to ensure smooth resident transitions and maintain consistent, timely follow-up with prospective clients and families.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity while engaging in community networking activities, including evening and weekend events as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of community relations, admissions, and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- College degree preferred, with experience in sales strongly preferred—particularly within healthcare, long-term care, or pharmaceutical settings.
- A strong understanding of healthcare services and the long-term care environment is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of and compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including Drug-Free Workplace standards.
- Demonstrated professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to resident dignity, safety, and exceptional customer service.
- Ability to maintain reliable attendance, appropriate professional appearance, and adherence to all safety and equal opportunity standards.
