Director of Community Relations
About the Role
Concord Park, an assisted living community in Concord, is acclaimed for its forward-thinking, pace-setting innovations in senior care, including an award-winning Brain Healthy Cooking Program and the stigma-shattering Dementia Friendly Communities Initiative. We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Director of Community Relations to drive all sales and outreach activities, ensuring we achieve and exceed the community’s sales and move-in goals while maximizing occupancy.
The ideal candidate will develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and community partners, conduct presentations showcasing our services, and ensure a smooth transition for new residents throughout the sales and move-in process. This role positions Concord Park as a leader in the assisted living industry, educating the community on aging and helping families find a supportive home environment focused on resident quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Drive all sales and outreach activities to achieve and exceed community sales and move-in goals, continuously maximizing occupancy.
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
- Plan and conduct presentations to showcase Concord Park’s services and innovative programs.
- Ensure a smooth transition for new residents throughout the entire sales and move-in process.
- Position Concord Park as a leader in the assisted living industry through community education on aging and senior care.
- Promote a positive team spirit, fostering cooperation, openness, enthusiasm, and customer service.
- Demonstrate trustworthiness, responsibility, and moral integrity with strong follow-through on commitments.
- Provide leadership, handle pressure, manage projects, and treat others with respect.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, demonstrating patience, tact, and enthusiasm.
- Utilize technology to perform job duties and communicate with residents, families, and coworkers.
Requirements
- Experience in sales, preferably in senior living or a related field.
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease, related dementias, and behavior management techniques.
- Commitment to Concord Park’s “Right Values” and ethical principles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency with technology for job duties and communication.
Schedule
Full-time salaried role: Monday-Friday, business hours with a rotating manager-on-duty weekend rotation. This position requires flexibility, including some evenings and weekends.
Pay
Annual salary starting at $85,000, plus a bonus structure.
