About the role
The Director of Community Engagement will lead circus arts programming in the San Francisco area, working both at the Circus Center and in the community. Responsibilities include managing multiple site locations, overseeing other teachers, implementing engaging curriculum, and fostering a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple site locations across San Francisco
- Oversee other circus arts teachers
- Implement and adapt engaging circus arts curriculum
- Foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Understanding of childhood development and youth health and wellness
- Proven experience leading and managing teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (education, arts administration, etc.)
- Experience in circus arts teaching or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Pay
$60,000 annually
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm, with occasional evening and weekend commitments
