Director of Club Operations, Barton Creek Country Club

Position Overview

The Director of Operations at Barton Creek Country Club will oversee key operational areas including Housekeeping, Kids Club, Fitness, Health Club Locker Facilities, Pool Operations & Swim Club, and Racquets Pro Shop. They will partner closely with Club leadership to ensure alignment across all facets of these operations, while continuously enhancing the member and guest experience through consistency, attention to detail, and strong execution.

Initial Priorities of the Role

• Build strong relationships with members and team members through visibility and engagement
• Evaluate and elevate cleanliness, service standards, and consistency across all operational areas
• Align departmental leaders around clear expectations and accountability
• Strengthen communication and collaboration across all areas of the Club
• Identify quick wins that enhance the overall member and guest experience

Candidate Qualifications

• 5 - 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a private club, resort, or high-end hospitality environment
• Proven success managing multi-dimensional operations
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and performance management
• A visible, hands-on leadership style with a commitment to excellence
• Demonstrated proficiency in hospitality and club management systems, with the ability to lead training and adoption across teams
• Experience working within structured brand standards and service environments such as Forbes Travel Guide is strongly preferred
