Director of Clinical Services (RN)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) for our hospice team in the Lebanon and Springfield areas. This role involves leading the clinical team and managing overall operations while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical operations in compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Provide leadership and oversight to the hospice interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to carry a case load as a case manager and fill in on-call shifts as needed.
• May be required to perform admissions during and after hours as needed.
• Provide symptom management and skilled care to patients facing terminal illnesses, along with emotional support and education on death and dying.
• Work primarily Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with some call/after-hours responsibilities.

Requirements

• A current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri.
• Livest within the service area.
• Strong clinical skills, management background, attention to detail, and great time management.
• Flexibility to handle varying schedules and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in hospice care.
• Experience in management and training.

Pay

Salary is based on experience in hospice and management.

Schedule

Primary hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with some call/after-hours required.
