About the role
The role requires travel statewide and is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Support market and facility leadership in maintaining, nurturing, and deepening relationships with physicians and physician groups.
- Identify and execute physician syndication opportunities to strengthen alignment, improve retention, and enhance loyalty among physicians.
- Identify and pursue growth levers including acquisition targets, DeNovo opportunities, and large referral relationships.
- Activate referral sources and other marketing mechanisms for partnered group practices based on market needs.
- Build and nurture a comprehensive network of key physicians and physician groups in the assigned geographic market.
- Engage and recruit new physicians for SP facilities, prioritizing based on potential size and assessed interest.
- Run proactive engagement and outreach efforts to identify and prioritize physician recruitment opportunities, and prepare key materials for conversations.
- Host and talk to out-of-market recruits about specific in-market opportunities, and work with Market CEOs and facility admins to facilitate out-of-market recruitment.
- Work with Market CEOs and facility leaders to increase splitter volume and retention, and partner with physician leaders to execute physician syndication opportunities.
- Identify and assess other key growth opportunities within the market, and share promising opportunities with relevant stakeholders.
- Drive relationship building and community engagement with large referral sources, and conduct recurring debrief conversations with local operations leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Professional certifications in business development or sales (e.g., Certified Business Development Expert) are preferred but not required.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
