Director of Business Development - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team in the field, focusing on relationship-building with hospital leaders.
• Remove obstacles and enhance team training and development.
• Work with hospital directors and CEOs to strategize admissions and streamline processes.
• Develop effective messaging and utilize data to guide best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
• Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse or Rehab Therapist (strongly preferred).
• Five or more years of experience in healthcare sales and marketing (inpatient services marketing in the local market is strongly preferred).
• Three or more years of team management experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and regulatory standards.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills.
• Proven success in relationship development and training/mentoring of team members.
• Ability to work effectively with direct reports and hospital leadership to achieve hospital budgets and positive patient outcomes.
