Director of Accounting
About the role
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Accounting located in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. Our location is in Southwest Austin near Southwest Parkway.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of the preparation and analysis of financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards
- Managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
- Supporting audits
- Contributing to strategic financial planning
- Collaborating with other teams to provide insights and ensure the overall financial health of the organization, LP Ops / LP First & Co., and select LP First Capital-managed companies
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting preparation and analysis
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent qualification
- Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data and informing decision-making
- Experience in Finance management and financial planning
- Prominent track record in leading financial operations and managing accounting teams
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools
Requirements
