Director of Accounting, North America
Responsibilities
- Lead IFRS financial reporting for North American entities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Oversee accounting compliance and audit support
- Strengthen internal controls and financial governance
- Partner with Tax, Finance and Operations leadership
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting operations
- Review reconciliations, journal entries and financial analyses
- Support ERP and financial systems optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 8-12 years of accounting leadership experience
- Strong IFRS technical accounting expertise
- Mechanical engineering experience preferred
- Experience working with outsourced accounting or shared services
- SAP strongly preferred, Blackline experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership and analytical abilities
- Ability to travel approximately 25%
