Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long and short-range financial plans, including capital and operational budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and executive team on service line development, growth initiatives, cost management, and revenue optimization.
- Identify opportunities to reduce operating costs, improve margins, and increase revenues while supporting quality patient outcomes.
- Provide financial analysis for potential expansions, acquisitions, partnerships, or new services.
- Oversee general accounting, patient financial services, third-party reimbursement, and statistical reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Direct the revenue cycle, including billing, collections, and denials management.
- Prepare and monitor annual operating and capital budgets.
- Monitor financial performance metrics and report to leadership.
- Provide leadership to finance, revenue cycle, and other business-related departments.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders on financial aspects of hospital services.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
- Master's degree (MBA/MHA) and/or CPA strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive financial leadership, preferably in healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
