Job Summary
As our Director of Nursing Cardiology Services at Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center, you will oversee Cath Lab, EKG, and Echo services. Your responsibilities include directing operations, working with senior leadership on key initiatives, and collaborating with other front-line leaders to maintain high standards of patient care in fast-paced environments. You will advise medical staff, department heads, and administrators on patient care, clinical best practices, and strategic improvements. You will also communicate the organization’s goals to the staff, focusing on enhancing patient experience and delivering exceptional quality care.
Responsibilities
- Directs operations of Cath Lab, EKG, and Echo services
- Works with senior leadership on key initiatives
- Collaborates with other front-line leaders to maintain high standards of patient care
- Advise medical staff, department heads, and administrators on patient care, clinical best practices, and strategic improvements
- Communicate the organization’s goals to the staff to enhance patient experience and deliver exceptional quality care
Requirements
- Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent education and experience
- Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (MSN/MBA/MHA) required
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required
- Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience required
- Required Licensure:
- Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
