About the role
We are seeking a Nursing Director Cardiac Services for our team to be an innovator. HCA Healthcare partners with Harvard Pilgrim Institute and the CDC to use our data from more than 26 million patient encounters each year to impact the industry.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate responsibility and accountability for service line development to include business plan development, feasibility studies, market analysis/research and service-line performance.
- Ensure a system-oriented service-line approach through the effective coordination of resources, standards of care, operating procedures, physician practice and coverage.
- Ensure program integrity through regularly scheduled quality assurance/customer service audits.
- Ensure development and implementation of effective, ongoing programs to measure, assess, and improve quality of care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
- Current Florida License required
- Minimum of 5 years progressive management experience. Clinical experience preferred
- Organizational, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project planning and management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel programs
