About the role
Elevate is supporting NJ/NY Gotham FC in leading the new stadium ticket sales strategy and execution as the club transitions to Etihad Park beginning with the 2028 season. The Director, New Stadium Premium Sales plays a critical leadership role, reporting directly to the Senior Director, New Stadium Ticket Sales. This position leads and develops a high-performing premium sales team focused on driving revenue across suites, club seating, and hospitality products.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a premium sales team focused on driving revenue across suites, club seating, and hospitality products.
- Deliver against and exceed premium sales revenue goals through a combination of new business development and account management.
- Execute outbound sales strategies, including calls, virtual and in-person presentations, networking, and high-impact sales events.
- Develop and refine tailored sales presentations for corporate clients, groups, and high-value prospects to drive premium inventory sales.
- Partner with the Senior Director and cross-functional teams to execute premium sales strategies aligned with overall stadium revenue goals.
- Identify, prospect, and cultivate new business opportunities using data-driven insights, lead generation strategies, and market research.
- Design and execute innovative engagement initiatives, including stadium tours and corporate outreach efforts.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing premium sales team, establishing clear expectations and performance standards.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentorship to sales staff, including call strategies, presentation skills, and closing techniques.
- Lead regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and performance check-ins to drive accountability and results.
- Track team performance against KPIs and ensure alignment with department goals and revenue pacing milestones.
- Maintain CRM integrity and utilization, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 6-8 years of successful sales experience in sports, media, sponsorships and/or direct sales is preferred.
- PREFERRED: 3 years of proven leadership experience in a sales environment including coaching, mentoring, hiring, training, and performance management.
- Experience in high-dollar premium or B2B Sales ($10k-$250k deals)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Paciolan, SeatGeek, Ticketmaster) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft CRM).
- Must be able to set appointments and conduct presentations, as well as out of office presentations.
- Experience leading premium sales in college athletics or professional sports environment.

- Ability to develop and deliver sound recommendations to senior management
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Flexible and adaptable to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required across event needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) & Google Suite
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making approach.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead diverse teams with empathy and accountability.
Working Conditions
- Working Environment: Primarily office-based in Jersey City, NJ with frequent attendance at athletic events, community engagements, and client meetings
- Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Travel Requirements: Minimal but may be required for special events or out-of-office appointments

- Anticipated Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + Performance Bonuses
