About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Director, Network Operations to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This leader will oversee enterprise network operations that support branch transitions, acquisitions, and day-to-day connectivity across a distributed environment. The role will focus on network design, security, voice and data circuit management, and resilient infrastructure that enables reliable service delivery. You will also partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to strengthen monitoring, troubleshooting, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage network and system administration during branch transitions
- Oversee network design, configuration, and security protocols
- Manage voice and data circuit provisioning and upgrades
- Enhance and maintain Zero Trust security for SASE
- Conduct site visits for large deployments and acquisitions as necessary
- Provide high-level support and troubleshooting in coordination with vendors
- Ensure compliance with SSAE, SOX, and other audit requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical education required; work experience may substitute for degree
- At least seven years in a network administration role with increasing responsibilities
- Minimum three years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
- Expert knowledge of Cisco technologies, including CCNA, CCNP, and Meraki
- Experience in IT disaster recovery and business continuity planning is essential
- Self-starter with adaptability to new technologies
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as PRTG and SolarWinds

Compensation
$120,000 – $180,000 annually
