Director - Merchandising TEquip

About the Role

TEquipment, a TestEquity company, is seeking an experienced Director of Merchandising to lead our merchandising vision and drive the next phase of growth for one of the industry's leading test and measurement marketplaces. In this highly visible leadership role, you'll influence product strategy, develop supplier partnerships, expand product categories, and lead a talented team focused on delivering an industry-leading digital shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive Assortment Growth: Lead the strategy that expands our product breadth and depth while improving profitability and customer value.
• Build Strategic Supplier Partnerships: Identify, recruit, and develop relationships with leading brands and suppliers that help strengthen our market position.
• Elevate The Digital Experience: Improve product discoverability, category navigation, onsite search performance, and overall ecommerce conversion.
• Turn Data into Action: Leverage customer behavior, market trends, competitive insights, and performance metrics to make informed merchandising decisions.
• Lead and Inspire Teams: Mentor and develop merchandising professionals while fostering collaboration across Marketing, Pricing, Product Information, Analytics, and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of merchandising experience, preferably within electronics distribution or related industries
• Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising, conversion optimization, SEO, taxonomy, and customer journey strategy
• Experience building scalable merchandising and product content processes
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Passion for growth, innovation, and delivering an outstanding customer experience
