About the role

The Head of Marketing Data Enablement & Visualization Strategy is responsible for leading a team of data professionals across multiple functional areas and domains. This role is accountable for implementing the strategic direction for the group, specifically driving the development and activation of marketing data products, Microsoft Fabric and AI-enabled capabilities, and client data optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead talent strategy for the area of responsibility in alignment with functional strategies, ensuring the team has the skills required to deliver modern data products, visualization capabilities, and AI-enabled solutions that create business value and improved experiences.
  • Utilize data products, marketing data pipelines, and Fabric/AI-enabled capabilities to identify business opportunities, optimize client data, and solve complex marketing and enterprise-wide data challenges.
  • Ensure the execution of best-in-class data enablement and visualization practices across the firm, including scalable dashboarding standards, unified reporting frameworks, and high-quality data activation.
  • Partner with senior leaders and executives across the firm to embed data products, insight visualization, and AI-driven decision support into business processes and strategic decisions.
  • Create and maintain strategies and programs that enable the firm’s marketing data needs—such as client data optimization, governed data assets, visualization standards, and cross-platform data activation within MarTech and analytics environments.
  • Define strategy, establish, and prioritize objectives for data enablement, visualization, and AI-driven insight delivery across the function, ensuring alignment with enterprise marketing and digital strategies.
  • Evangelize data enablement and visualization strategies across the firm by championing the power of connected data, intuitive dashboards, and AI augmented insights to empower decision-makers at all levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in data, analytics, marketing technology, or related disciplines, with significant experience enabling data-driven decision making at scale.
  • 5+ years of people leadership, with a strong track record of developing high-performing technical and analytical teams.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing data products, including data pipelines, semantic models, governed datasets, and business-facing analytic assets.
  • Hands-on expertise with modern data platforms, including Microsoft Fabric, data lakes/lakehouses, metadata management, and AI/ML enabled capabilities.
  • Strong experience with enterprise visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) and leading visualization strategy, standards, and scalable insight delivery.
  • Deep understanding of marketing and client data, including optimization, quality frameworks, taxonomy/metadata, and integration across MarTech platforms.
  • Proven ability to connect and align data engineering, MarTech, and analytics workflows to create seamless, end-to-end data activation.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to connect technical concepts to business value for senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience defining and executing data enablement strategy, including governance, roadmap development, change management, and cross-functional alignment.
