Responsibilities
- Serve as a key advisor, identify and direct enterprise-wide Procurement/Sourcing Strategy projects and oversee client deliverables across M&A, private equity and various industry sectors
- Lead Procurement and Strategic Sourcing performance transformation engagements through optimization of processes and utilization of various systems/tools/metrics
- Ensure successful problem formulation, hypotheses generation, comprehensive analysis, testing hypotheses and problem resolution for client issues
- Support project initiatives from start to finish, including directing teams, generating data requests, leading client discussions, driving deliverables and assisting with presentation of outputs
- Create insights related to the clients strategic and financial ambitions, including identifying the underlying value proposition and challenging the clients working capital/cash flow objectives through structured data analyses, identification of operational risks and driving efficiencies
- Help lead proposal development and other new business development activities by leveraging new and existing relationships with C-level executives across corporate and private equity clients
Qualifications
- Minimum eight years of recent consulting experience in a client-facing strategy discipline at a major Strategy, boutique Strategy or Big 4 consulting firm in the area of M&A/Transactions and Procurement/Sourcing Strategy
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business, accounting, economics, STEM or other relevant degree is required; MBA or graduate engineering degree from an accredited college/university is strongly preferred
- Experience driving performance improvement and M&A/Transactions related projects across Procurement/Sourcing resulting in cash flow improvements and cost reductions
- Proven ability to perform data driven analyses including problem identification, data discovery and statistical analysis
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable explaining data driven process improvement insights to business users
- Willingness and ability to travel
