About the role

We are seeking a Director of Lifecycle Management to build and lead a Lifecycle Management as a Service practice within a managed services provider environment. This role is responsible for creating and scaling a client-facing service offering that spans the full technology asset lifecycle, including planning, procurement, deployment, refresh, recovery, and disposition. This is a strategic leadership position focused on service design, operational excellence, vendor partnerships, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, and scale a lifecycle management service offering for MSP clients
  • Define service strategy, operating model, processes, and success metrics
  • Develop standardized programs for device planning, procurement, deployment, asset tracking, refresh, and retirement
  • Partner with sales and solutions teams to support go-to-market strategy and client adoption
  • Establish and manage vendor, distributor, logistics, and disposal partnerships
  • Oversee service delivery performance, reporting, financial results, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate across operations, engineering, procurement, and client success teams
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Lead and develop team members supporting lifecycle operations and program execution

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in IT lifecycle management, managed services, endpoint operations, IT asset management, or related areas
  • Experience building or leading a client-facing managed service, practice, or operational function
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end device lifecycle services, including sourcing, deployment, refresh, recovery, and disposition
  • Proven ability to create scalable processes, service offerings, and operational frameworks
  • Strong business acumen with experience in pricing, profitability, vendor management, and service growth
  • Experience working in an MSP, VAR, OEM, distributor, or similar technology services environment preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
