About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Director Learning Technology to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $115,000 – $183,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Own the learning technology architecture and make strategic decisions with limited information
- Define the learning technology ecosystem's direction, including integration strategies and new capabilities
- Lead high-complexity technology implementations with a focus on teammate experience
- Act as the trusted technology advisor to VP- and C-level sponsors, offering actionable insights
- Establish the multi-year learning technology strategy and prioritize technology intake decisions
- Direct cross-functional technology programs from design to adoption with a focus on user experience
- Ensure reliability and compliance of learning systems in line with operational requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred in technology management or adult learning
- 8+ years in learning technology or enterprise platform leadership, directly owning architecture and integration decisions
- Proven decision-maker in technology, particularly in vendor negotiations and architecture reviews under pressure
- Strong executive presence to engage with senior stakeholders and operate autonomously
- Experience building and developing technical teams toward strategic roles
