Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT relationship leader for North America, directly supporting General Managers across 8-10 manufacturing plants.
- Partner with plant leadership and regional functions to understand priorities across safety, quality, delivery, cost, growth, and compliance.
- Translate business needs into clear IT demand, roadmaps, priorities, business cases, and execution plans aligned to digital strategy.
- Drive results through global IT towers including Enterprise Systems, Infrastructure & Operations, Cyber Security, Data & Analytics, and AI & Automation.
- Lead and coordinate issue escalation, service performance, project delivery, adoption, and change readiness across sites and functions.
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing operations through ERP, MES, data, automation, and secure infrastructure capabilities.
- Communicate status, risks, benefits, and trade-offs to GMs, regional leaders, and IT leadership while maintaining stakeholder trust.
- Measure value realization and business outcomes from digital initiatives and continuously improve the regional IT engagement model.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience; manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial operations experience preferred.
- Strong applied AI acumen, with the ability to effectively leverage generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Codex, and similar platforms, including advanced prompting techniques—to improve decision-making, accelerate analysis and solution development, automate knowledge work, and identify high-value AI opportunities across manufacturing and business functions.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing IT, ERP, MES, quality systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data/analytics, and enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with General Managers and senior functional leaders to shape priorities and resolve issues.
- Proven success operating in a matrix organization, influencing without direct authority, and delivering through shared tower teams.
- Business-savvy leader with strong executive communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and change adoption skills.
- Experience supporting multi-site plants and translating operational needs into practical, measurable IT outcomes.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- ITIL, PMP, SCRUM, PRINCE2, Supply Chain, Planning and manufacturing systems certifications a plus.
