Director Integrated Media Planning
Based on-site at the client in Franklin, TN, this highly visible role serves as a strategic partner to the client, leading day-to-day business needs while collaborating closely with broader integrated OMD teams, creative agencies, and media owners to deliver integrated, impactful solutions.
About the role
As OMD's voice with the client, the Director develops a deep understanding of the client's business, objectives, and challenges while serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for OMD's strategic approach. The ideal candidate is both a strong leader and a hands-on contributor, requiring a balance of strategic leadership, operational excellence, and executional support.
The Director acts as a driving force behind the team's success, ensuring the vision of both the agency and client comes to life through innovative work, thought leadership, and breakthrough ideas. They have a strong appetite for emerging technologies, evolving media channels, and cultural trends, along with a deep appreciation for the passion consumers have for automotive brands.
This leader orchestrates a strategic mix of solutions across social media, content partnerships, data and audience strategies, mobile opportunities, and other evolving digital channels, continuously identifying new ways to drive growth, engagement, and business impact as the media landscape evolves. The Director is key to helping OMD stay ahead of clients and lead the competition.

Requirements
- Graduate of a four-year college or university.
- 10+ years of integrated media planning experience.
- Track record of handling big client ambitions; automotive experience a plus.
- Ability to create and execute a holistic channel approach to planning.
- Experience collaborating with media owners, agency business units, and creative agency partners.
- Proven leadership ability and experience managing a team, with a strong desire to grow and develop talent.
- Advanced knowledge of media fundamentals and an ability to educate at all levels.
- Strong comfort level with data, analytics, and measurement.
Pay
$170,000 (Tennessee).
Schedule
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
