About the role

The Director, Integrated Planning is a senior strategic leader that develops converged media strategies bridging linear TV, CTV, and OLV/YouTube, and considers other channels like audio, print, OOH, social, and search. This role unifies planning across channels especially Converged TV, optimizes audience reach and frequency, and uses data, attribution, and performance insights to provide ongoing optimization recommendations and drive measurable business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of converged TV media strategies that drive measurable business growth on our largest agency clients ($10-30M+)
  • Oversee integrated planning across linear TV, CTV, OLV/YouTube while also taking into consideration audio, print, OOH, social, and search as needed
  • Plan and manage primarily national campaigns, with an ability to plan local campaigns on an as need basis
  • Focus on brand and performance KPIs, including reach, frequency, efficiency, and business outcomes (e.g.: Response, Orders, Revenue, etc.)
  • Analyze response data, audience insights, and attribution outputs to optimize active campaigns and inform future recommendations
  • Build strong client relationships by demonstrating curiosity, business understanding, and a clear point of view on strategic media investment
  • Present integrated media plans, campaign results, insights, and actionable recommendations to client stakeholders
  • Develop and pitch innovative media ideas that expand client relationships and media footprints
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively through objectives, strategies, points of view, and data-driven storytelling
  • Coach, mentor, and support the development of planning team members and cross-department partners
  • Learn, utilize, and actively contribute to the development of proprietary agency tools, technology platforms, and attribution models to maximize campaign performance
  • Have a strong understanding of Demand Side Platforms (DSPs), automated content recognition (ACR) data, and data clean rooms
  • Be familiar with the accelerated growth goals of entrepreneurial agencies and clients
  • Build and lead teams and departments, embracing new challenges
  • Be highly analytical and data-driven, with strong attention to detail
  • Mastery of planning, measurement, and reporting tools such as Nielsen, Comscore, R/F planning platforms, Commspoint, iSpot, Innovid, competitive tracking tools, MRI, or similar platforms
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using data, attribution models, and proprietary or third-party tools to improve campaign performance
  • Prepare and deliver compelling media strategy pitches for new business
  • Quickly ramp up on new business categories and competitive landscapes
  • Leverage data-driven storytelling to communicate a clear and strategic narrative

Requirements

We look for someone with 10+ years of agency media planning experience with national accounts, including expertise in linear TV, CTV, and performance-driven media. Experience in Converged TV planning is a plus. Familiarity with the accelerated growth goals of entrepreneurial agencies and clients is important. Experience building teams and departments and embracing new challenges is key. Mastery of planning, measurement, and reporting tools is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Experience using data, attribution models, and proprietary or third-party tools to improve campaign performance is crucial. Preparation and delivery of compelling media strategy pitches for new business and existing client growth are necessary. Staying on top of current trends and willing to take calculated risks is important. Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities are required. Qualifications

Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
