Responsibilities
- Lead the enterprise strategy for analytics and reporting, with a strong focus on Epic optimization, automation, and data integration.
- Drive analytics initiatives that improve clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
- Partner with clinical, financial, and operational leaders—including the CFO—to enhance financial reporting accuracy and streamline revenue cycle analytics.
- Oversee data governance, reporting standards, and analytics infrastructure to ensure accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
- Leverage automation, AI, and predictive analytics to accelerate workflows and deliver actionable insights.
- Educate and guide leaders and staff on Epic functionality, system enhancements, and analytics best practices.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and demonstrate ROI.
- Lead high-performing teams that foster innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and resource planning to align technology investments with organizational goals.
- Collaborate across departments to align analytics initiatives with enterprise-wide strategies and priorities.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare management with specialization in Information Systems, project management, product development, and/or technology leadership.
- Epic Expertise: Proven experience with the Epic EHR system required.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Clinical and/or healthcare operations background preferred.
- Regulatory Familiarity: Knowledge of JCAHO standards, federal reporting requirements, and healthcare data governance is preferred.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization, from technical teams to executive leadership.
