About the role
This is a day-shift, full-time administrative position within the Chief Information Officer’s organization, supporting leadership development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Leadership Development team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Maintain confidential files and records; ensure data integrity and security.
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders; respond to inquiries and direct requests appropriately.
- Coordinate logistics for leadership training programs, workshops, and events, including venue booking, materials preparation, and participant communications.
- Monitor and track program budgets, expenses, and invoices; process purchase requisitions and reimbursements.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of leadership development resources, including intranet content, training manuals, and evaluation tools.
- Compile and analyze data to generate reports on program participation, feedback, and outcomes.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for leadership program participants.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals of the Leadership Development team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in an educational or corporate training environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Experience with data entry, database management, and basic reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Experience with event planning and coordination is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of budget tracking and financial processes is a plus.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting leadership development, training, or professional development programs.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) or similar platforms.
- Experience working in a K-12 educational setting or public-sector environment.
