Role Responsibilities
- Function as a strategic HR advisor to global leadership.
- Collaborate with HR Operations, HR Centers of Expertise, and regional HR teams to deliver scalable, data-driven HR solutions aligned with Western Union’s business goals.
- Use workforce analytics and trends to guide strategic decisions, develop proactive talent solutions, and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
- Coach and counsel senior leadership (VP and above) on HR policies, organizational design, and talent development strategies.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide initiatives and global compliance standards.
- Partner with HR Operations teams to ensure seamless support for Director and below populations.
- Champion Western Union’s culture, values, and inclusion initiatives across all supported business units.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- 10 plus years of progressive HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated success supporting corporate functions in a global enterprise environment.
- Strategic Thinking (The “Why”): Leads with a forward-looking HR vision—anticipating workforce needs, identifying organizational patterns, and proactively preparing for future talent, culture, and compliance challenges to support long-term business growth.
- Tactical Execution (The “How”): Executes with precision—overseeing day-to-day HR operations, managing complex projects, and providing quick, effective solutions to meet immediate organizational needs and deliver measurable results.
- Proven ability to develop and implement Human Resources strategies that drive business performance.
- Strong business acumen and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to Human Resources challenges.
- History of coaching senior leaders and influencing through data and insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization. Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Experience in organizational design and change management is a plus.
