Responsibilities
- Identify new clients, lead and manage existing client relationships, and deliver Human Capital and Workforce Transformation services within the State and Local Government sector, including but not limited to Human Capital Management, Payroll Workforce Management & Planning, Talent Acquisition, Change Management, Communications, Learning & Development
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver excellent client service, including stakeholder management, meeting and workshop facilitation, deliverable development, project management, and financial oversight
- Lead the creation and advancement of thought leadership, including the development of internal and external tools, resources, and training to support human capital transformation initiatives
- Lead the development and evolution of business methodologies and intellectual capital, including articles, whitepapers, and methodology guides
- Participate in business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and leading or supporting proposal responses and client outreach activities
Requirements
- Minimum ten years of relevant work experience related to one or more of the following areas: Human Capital Management, Payroll Workforce Management & Planning, Talent Acquisition, Change Management, Communications, Learning & Development
- Proven experience leading business transformation initiatives based on a strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading practices in the human capital consulting space
- Prior experience managing a portfolio of clients and client engagements, including setting priorities, balancing competing deadlines, and leading stakeholder engagement across multiple levels of an organization
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence senior client stakeholders and manage complex transformation programs within the State and Local Government sector
- Travel as necessary to meet client and project needs
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future (KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity)
