Director, Health Plan Programs and Initiatives

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Health Plan Programs and Initiatives to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will drive cross-functional planning and execution for health plan programs and executive-level initiatives within a complex healthcare environment. You will partner closely with senior leadership, market teams, and corporate functions to keep priorities aligned, surface risks and dependencies, and support decision-making. The position also plays a key role in preparing business reviews, operating plans, forecasts, and leadership materials that help guide organizational performance. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $107,700 – $199,300 annually Responsibilities Coordinate project updates with leadership team members during meetings Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and market teams or corporate departments Identify impacts, risks, and interdependencies for projects and initiatives Oversee the development of internal and external meeting materials for executive leadership Manage assigned special projects or committees for the Plan President or COO Lead planning and development of business review presentations with the leadership team Collaborate with the CFO on the Annual Operating Plan and related forecasts Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, Health Care Administration, or a related field 7+ years of experience in Strategic Planning or Business Development Prior experience in the health plan sector is highly preferred Familiarity with Oregon Medicaid is advantageous Strong project management skills Benefits Comprehensive health insurance coverage 401(k) and stock purchase plans for financial investment Tuition reimbursement for career development Generous paid time off plus holidays Flexible work schedule options including remote and hybrid arrangements Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
