About the role
Hello Heart is on a mission to prevent heart attacks by using AI to predict and prevent cardiac events. We serve over 80% of large U.S. health plans and hundreds of public and private employers, aiming to redefine how heart disease is managed in the AI era.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Business Development Leader for the company.
- Become a deep subject matter expert in all aspects related to Hello Heart and how we can work with targeted national payers.
- Lead prospecting, pitching, and contracting for strategic partnerships in the Health Plan/Medicare space.
- Manage and develop the Health Plan pipeline with accountability for strategic partnership targets.
- Negotiate and manage the execution of channel partnership agreements with Health Plans.
- Identify and execute partnership expansion opportunities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of demonstrated Business Development or Management Consulting experience in the Health Plan /Medicare space.
- Experience and success in end-to-end partnerships by developing an overall strategy to build/maintain pipelines and executing through prospecting, relationship building, pitching, and contracting.
- 100% independent with a demonstrated strong problem-solving skill set.
- A strong team player who can work with multiple functions within the company.
- Ability to effectively escalate to leadership matters that have a strategic impact.
- Go-getter who operates with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a startup.
- Stellar written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, able to multitask, and easily adaptable to change.
- Ability to travel 50%.
- Preference for candidates currently based in the Midwest or the West Coast.
Pay
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000.00 to $200,000.00. Salary ranges are determined by role and level. Compensation is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
