Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead retrospective cohort studies that leverage Inovalon’s claims data assets alone or in combination with external data sources (e.g., EHR, SDOH).
  • Develop and execute scope-of-work proposals, study design protocols, and statistical analysis plans.
  • Analyze data, interpret results, summarize findings, and advise on strategy.
  • Oversee dissemination and publication development.
  • Advise on strategy and support generation of business with new clients and grow business with existing clients.
  • Utilize superior consulting acumen to identify client gaps and opportunities.
  • Drive team goal achievement around sales, revenue, and project management.
  • Plan and manage work requests, prioritize, and track for a wide range of research and data analytics projects.
  • Manage project staff in project delivery, particularly client communication, client management, preparation and delivery of interim results, drafting of final reports (WORD, PowerPoint), and dissemination materials including abstracts, manuscripts, and white papers/brief insights.
  • Coordinate with team members to assess and track status for on-time delivery of critical projects; assist teams and project members in removing impediments.
  • Solve complex client issues in a timely and appropriate manner.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum seven (7) years’ relevant work experience within the healthcare industry, with deep expertise in HEOR methods, especially observational research and use of retrospective real-world data.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience in project management including tracking budgets, developing project plans, and tracking status of deliverables, adhering to timelines, and client engagement.
  • Prior consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience evaluating research findings and conveying findings in appropriate presentation formats for internal/external distribution.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Detail oriented and highly motivated with ability to work independently.
  • Experience with IRB preferred.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills including the ability to concisely explain complicated concepts to stakeholders at all levels within and outside of the firm.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize multiple activities and adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills that translate into positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytic skills with the ability to gain and apply knowledge outside of one’s immediate functional area.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or PhD, in HEOR, pharmacoeconomics, health economics, business administration, health policy, public policy, healthcare management, public health, public administration, or relevant discipline.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time); Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force; Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions;
  • Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.

Benefits

  • Base Compensation Range: $149,100—$180,000 USD
