Director, Global Tech Recruiting will oversee a global technical recruiting function supporting engineering and product growth, partnering with senior business leaders to shape hiring strategy, improve delivery, and ensure a strong candidate experience. The role uses data, market intelligence, and workforce planning to meet ambitious talent goals. Location: San Francisco, CA – US‑based candidates only; no visa sponsorship.

Compensation

$224,000 – $308,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a global recruiting team focused on delivering a top‑tier candidate experience.
• Serve as a primary talent advisor to senior executives in engineering and product divisions.
• Develop global technical headcount models and manage hiring targets to optimize recruitment delivery.
• Standardize technical assessment processes to enhance interview quality and candidate experience.
• Analyze recruitment metrics and talent market insights to inform strategic decision‑making.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in technical recruiting leadership roles within high‑growth tech environments.
• Proven ability to lead and scale global recruiting functions across diverse geographical locations.
• Strong understanding of engineering and product development, with technical fluency to engage effectively with stakeholders.
• Expertise in data‑driven recruiting practices and capacity planning.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C‑level executives.
