Director, Global Security - REMOTE USA

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Global Security to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead a comprehensive global security function supporting a multinational organization with complex operational and executive protection needs. The Director will shape security strategy, strengthen risk management practices, and help build resilient programs across sites, travel, and crisis response. This is a highly collaborative position that partners closely with leaders across legal, HR, IT, operations, and environmental health and safety to protect people, assets, and business continuity.

Location & schedule

Remote — US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation

$200,000 – $215,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's global security strategy and operations.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models.
• Standardize site security risk assessments and oversee physical security systems.
• Support crisis management and incident response efforts.
• Define executive protection and travel security program strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including EHS, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or a related field.
• 20+ years of relevant experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-level security programs.
• Master's degree or advanced professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or PCI are a plus.
• Experience in a multinational corporate environment and with executive protection and travel risk programs is advantageous.
