Director, Global Security - REMOTE USA

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Global Security to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead a comprehensive global security program with a strong focus on enterprise risk, threat management, and executive protection across a multinational environment. The director will partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen facility protection, crisis readiness, and travel security. The position requires a strategic leader who can standardize security practices while supporting business continuity and operational resilience. Location: Raleigh, NC - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation and execution of the global security strategy
• Assess and prioritize security risks as part of enterprise risk and threat management
• Standardize risk assessments and ensure effective facility and asset protection
• Support crisis management and business continuity efforts
• Define and implement executive protection and travel security strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including EHS, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or a related field
• 20+ years of relevant experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-level security programs
• Previous experience in multinational corporate environments is a plus
• Master's degree or advanced professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or PCI are beneficial

Pay

$200,000 – $215,000 annually
