Director, Global Security - REMOTE USA

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Global Security - REMOTE USA to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This leader will shape and execute a global security strategy that protects employees, assets, and operations across a multinational environment. The role will partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to build consistent policies, strengthen preparedness, and reduce enterprise risk. It is a highly visible leadership opportunity focused on security governance, crisis readiness, travel risk, and executive protection. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $200,000 – $215,000 annually Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of global security strategies to protect employees and company assets Conduct security risk assessments and manage mitigation plans across all regions Establish and standardize security policies and operational models globally Support crisis management and incident response planning to handle major events Define and manage travel security programs and executive protection strategies in line with corporate guidelines Collaborate with cross-functional teams including EHS, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations to ensure security integration Oversee physical security systems, including access control and surveillance mechanisms Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field 20+ years of relevant functional experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-level security programs Master's degree or advanced professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or PCI preferred Experience in a multinational corporate environment and with executive protection and travel risk programs is a plus Benefits Flexible remote work arrangements Comprehensive health care programs Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan options Access to educational and professional development resources Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
