About the role

The Director, Enterprise Applications will lead and mature ATI’s enterprise application function during a critical period of transformation. This role will assume responsibility for Oracle EBS and PSIMetals and play a critical role in stabilizing and delivering application components of a major business unit transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Oracle EBS and PSIMetals application execution through UAT, go-live readiness, cutover support, and hyper care.
  • Intervene where needed to stabilize delivery, resolve execution gaps, and improve team performance.
  • Ensure ERP and PSIMetals workstreams are coordinated effectively with MES, analytics, LIMS, integration, and business process dependencies.
  • Evaluate current team structure, skills, performance, and internal/external delivery mix; make changes within budget authority as needed.
  • Ownt the Accenture managed services relationship for ERP and mature the operating model, governance, performance expectations, knowledge transfer, and accountability mechanisms.
  • Partner closely with BU transformation leadership, functional DT leaders, BU DT leaders, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, and application teams to drive execution and readiness.
  • Build and mature ATI’s future enterprise application capability across a broader enterprise application portfolio.
  • Mature ATI’s enterprise application practices across solution ownership, SDLC, release management, testing, support, vendor governance, application lifecycle management, business transformation support, and enterprise application architecture.
  • Lead Oracle EBS and PSIMetals teams with a focus on execution quality, accountability, business process alignment, and operational stability.
  • Create a culture of proactive issue resolution, fact-based decision-making, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
  • Audit and upgrade team capability through coaching, role clarity, upskilling, restructuring, hiring, or changes to delivery model where needed.
  • Step directly into active transformation delivery and provide leadership across ERP and PSIMetals application readiness.
  • Drive UAT readiness, defect resolution, cutover preparation, go-live support, and hyper care planning.
  • Identify material risks quickly and bring forward options, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
  • Partner with program leadership to ensure application delivery is aligned with overall transformation objectives, timing, and business outcomes.
  • Establish a more disciplined SDLC and application delivery model for ATI.
  • Develop a practical roadmap for centralizing and maturing enterprise application ownership.
  • Build stronger confidence from DT and business stakeholders in application delivery, support, and solution leadership.
  • Contribute to ATI’s ERP strategy and future enterprise application architecture direction.
  • Build a team and operating model capable of supporting future business unit transformations.

Qualifications

  • Significant enterprise applications leadership experience at director level or equivalent.
  • Strong Oracle EBS experience or substantial ERP leadership experience in complex industrial, manufacturing, aerospace and defense, or metals environments.
  • Proven ability to step into distressed or underperforming application delivery environments and stabilize execution.
  • Experience leading ERP or enterprise application delivery through UAT, go-live, cutover, and hyper care.
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge functional and technical teams directly, validate assumptions, and drive decisions.
  • Experience managing large systems integrator or managed services relationships, preferably Accenture or comparable partners.
  • Strong people leadership experience, including assessing talent, upgrading capability, managing performance, and building accountable teams.
  • Experience maturing SDLC, release management, testing, change control, support, and application governance practices.
  • Ability to operate hands-on when needed while building scalable management systems and long-term organizational capability.
  • Experience contributing to ERP strategy, roadmap development, architecture decisions, and multi-business-unit application standardization.

Skills

  • Enterprise applications leadership experience.
  • Oracle EBS experience or ERP leadership experience in complex industrial, manufacturing, aerospace and defense, or metals environments.
  • Stability and execution experience in ERP or enterprise application delivery.
  • Leadership and management experience in large systems integrator or managed services relationships.
  • People leadership experience, including assessing talent, upgrading capability, managing performance, and building accountable teams.
  • Experience maturing SDLC, release management, testing, change control, support, and application governance practices.
  • ERP strategy, roadmap development, architecture decisions, and multi-business-unit application standardization experience.
