Director Emergency Services (RN)

As the ED Director joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier.
Responsibilities
- Strategic and operational leadership of the Emergency Department.
- Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
- Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
- Maintains departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
- Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Requirements
- Current Arizona RN license.
- Bachelor of Science (BSN) from an accredited nursing school.
- Master's degree (nursing or relevant field) preferred.
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Handle with Care certifications.
- Emergency Department nursing required.
- Prior proven leadership experience in the Emergency Department preferred.
