Haleon · New Jersey, United States · 4 days ago
Hybrid$188k–$271k/yrFull-time
About the role
Lead Haleon’s Oral Health Customer Strategy & Planning agenda by shaping future-focused customer growth strategies, curating them for the unique dynamics of a science-led, expert-influenced category, and translating them into integrated commercial plans that win across digital and brick-and-mortar environments. Serve as the fulcrum connecting the Oral Health BU, cross-functional partners, and Commercial Enablement, delivering a single, coherent commercial strategy that maximizes Haleon’s disproportionate growth opportunity across this portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Define and adapt customer growth strategy for Oral Health, grounded in the expert-driven, science-backed commercial model that distinguishes Haleon from commodity competitors.
- Own the one commercial plan across base and innovation, ensuring customer strategy, innovation viability, and activation are fully integrated and sequenced.
- Bridge HCP/professional channel strategy (dental, hygienist detailing) with retail and e-commerce execution to create a connected shopper journey from recommendation to purchase.
- Provide early customer and channel insight into innovation viability, including e-commerce pack strategy and digital shelf readiness.
- Lead digital commerce integration and retail media network alignment, with a particular focus on Amazon, where Oral Health holds a leading market share position.
- Contribute to forecast quality and demand realism by grounding assumptions in customer signal, not just brand ambition.
- Lead cross-functional orchestration across the Oral Health BU, Marketing, Category, NRM, and Field Sales to maintain a single commercial voice.
- Ensure activation plans uphold Haleon’s Visual Brand Language, execution standards, and antitrust compliance.
- Architect omnichannel activation that unifies 4Ps and shopper journeys across digital and physical shelves.
Outcomes & Measures of Success
- Quality and execution of the one commercial plan, measured by in-market effectiveness, execution fidelity, and the learning loop back into strategy.
- Forecast realism and alignment across brand, finance, and commercial partners.
- Strength of digital and RMN integration balanced with brick-and-mortar scale, especially Amazon market share defense and growth.
- HCP-to-retail channel connectivity: evidence that professional recommendation is amplified through the commercial plan.
- Cross-functional influence and orchestration effectiveness.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years in CPG Commercial (Customer Strategy, Sales, Shopper/Omnichannel), with brand or category leadership experience; demonstrated JBP ownership and customer planning depth.
- Fluency in retail media networks, digital shelf, and e-commerce strategy; comfort operating in both a practitioner and strategic capacity.
- Strong NRM acumen (pack/price/mix/promo), P&L accountability, and trade investment governance.
- Fact-based decision-making toolkit: shopper science, CBIA integration, and analytics (Power BI or equivalent).
- Proven ability to lead and influence senior cross-functional stakeholders; executive presence and a clear, persuasive commercial voice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Oral Health, OTC Health, or any science-led, expert-influenced category where professional recommendation plays a role in demand creation.
- Familiarity with dental/professional channel dynamics and how HCP recommendation connects to retail pull-through and commercial planning.
- Track record building digital shelf excellence programs and launching e-commerce pack innovations.
- Master’s/MBA; formal training in Category Management, Joint Business Planning, and/or Business Strategy.

This role is based at our Warren, NJ headquarters and requires a minimum of 3 days onsite.
