Director, Corporate Partnerships - CHOC Foundation

About the role

The Corporate Relations Director is responsible for managing the Children’s Miracle Network team. This role involves creating and implementing a strategic Corporate Giving operational plan for building and managing comprehensive relationships with corporations. The director collaborates with development staff and CMN national staff to manage and retain relationships with corporate partners at national, regional, and local levels while developing new relationships to generate further funding. Serves as a primary contact and Program Director for Children's Miracle Network hospitals. Responsible for setting goals and performance benchmarks for associates in the Corporate Partnerships department and managing $4+ million in gifts annually, focusing on Children's Miracle Network partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Children’s Miracle Network team.
• Create and implement a strategic Corporate Giving operational plan.
• Build and manage comprehensive relationships with corporations.
• Collaborate with development staff and CMN national staff to retain and develop corporate partnerships.
• Serve as the primary contact and Program Director for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
• Set goals and performance benchmarks for associates in the Corporate Partnerships department.
• Generate and manage $4+ million in gifts annually from Children’s Miracle Network partners.

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in Corporate Development or Engagement.
• Preferred: At least 1-2 years of managing direct reports in a revenue-generating capacity.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Proven ability to expand and strengthen partnerships with corporations, foundations, and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
• Entrepreneurial, comprehensive, and prospect-driven approach to corporate and foundation relations.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively build relationships and alliances with internal and external constituencies.
• Preferred: Knowledge of cause marketing best practices.

Work Environment

This role involves sedentary work with very light energy levels. Specific physical activities include:

• Lifting a 10 lbs. box overhead.
• Lifting and carrying 15 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling a 20 lbs. cart.
• Bending, carrying objects, climbing, keyboard use/repetitive motion, pinching/fine motor activities, pushing/pulling, reaching forward and overhead, sitting, squatting/kneeling/crawling, standing, talking or hearing, tasting or smelling, twisting, walking, wrist position deviation.

Physical activity requirements for lifting:

• Lifting (Floor to waist level) - Constant (67% or more), Frequent (36-66%), Occasional (0-35%).
• Lifting (Waist level and above) - Constant (67% or more), Frequent (36-66%), Occasional (0-35%).

Sensory requirements include color discrimination, depth perception, far and near vision, hearing.

Environmental requirements include exposure to airborne communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, dust particulate matter, extreme noise levels, extreme temperatures, radiation, and uneven surfaces or elevations.

Pay

Pay Range:

• Minimum: $78,978
• Midpoint: $118,477
• Maximum: $157,955

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
