Possibilities
- Lead strategy and execution for volunteer engagement, management, and retention.
- Create and maintain systems to track volunteer participation and impact metrics.
- Develop volunteer pipelines through partnerships with various organizations.
- Oversee the volunteer application process and provide regular reports to leadership.
- Plan and execute volunteer appreciation initiatives and recognition activities.
Partnerships
- Cultivate and manage relationships with corporate, civic, nonprofit, and community partners.
- Support stewardship of existing partners through consistent communication and relationship-building activities.
- Maintain an active and positive presence among external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Development and Program teams to align partnership opportunities with organizational priorities and funding strategies.
Events & Outreach
- Plan, coordinate, and execute community-facing events and engagement opportunities.
- Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including logistics, communications, vendor and sponsor relationships, volunteer coordination, budget tracking, and event-day operations.
- Evaluate event and outreach outcomes using defined metrics.
- Prepare summary reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Track and report community engagement, event participation, and impact data on an ongoing basis.
Internal Relationships
- Maintain regular contact with Club staff across departments to coordinate volunteer placements, align partnership activities, and ensure effective communication around community events and outreach.
External Relationships
- Maintain active relationships with corporate and community partners, civic leaders, schools, other organizations, neighborhood groups, volunteers, and local residents.
Salary Range
$55,000 - $64,000
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of progressive experience in volunteer management, community engagement, partnership development, or a related nonprofit function.
- Proven track record cultivating and sustaining community and corporate partnerships with measurable outcomes.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders including community partners, volunteers, corporate contacts, and Club staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing outreach materials, impact reports, newsletters, and partner correspondence.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); comfort with volunteer management platforms, CRM systems, or similar tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by community events and engagement activities.
