Director, Client Programs & Advocacy
About the role
The Director, Client Programs & Advocacy role is part of Phreesia Network Solutions, a subsidiary of Phreesia. This position is remote within the United States, with occasional travel required for client meetings, industry events, conferences, and team collaboration. Priority is given to candidates local to NYC/Tristate area and in Eastern Time Zone regions.
Responsibilities
Own the work of deepening and expanding client relationships through client marketing and advocacy.
Build and lead a client marketing program focused on retention, expansion, and advocacy across the PNS client base.
Run the Client Advisory Board (CAB) program: charter, recruitment, agenda, and follow-through on insights.
Partner with Enablement and Marketing to develop case studies, testimonials, and outcomes content for PatientConnect, PSE, MediFind, and new offerings.
Develop and execute joint marketing programs with strategic partners (e.g., Fierce and other industry media).
Define and manage partner tiers and benefits in partnership with Strategy and Market Development.
Lead marketing strategy and execution for key industry conferences (FPW, HealthFront, and others) and proprietary client events.
Own booth experience, speaking opportunities, on-site content, and field marketing in partnership with the sales team.
Manage the events budget and agency relationships.
Design and run a client experiences program: hosted dinners, intimate gatherings, sports and cultural events, special-occasion moments.
Own the gifting program: thoughtful, well-timed, on-brand, never generic.
Lead, mentor, and grow a small team. Recommend team shape and hires based on the work.
Manage annual budget, agency relationships, and KPIs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
5+ years of marketing experience, including experience in client marketing, customer marketing, partner marketing, or related disciplines.
Experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare media, or healthcare marketing environments.
Agency experience, either directly within an agency environment or through close partnership with media agencies such as Publicis, Omnicom, IPG, Havas, Tag, or similar organizations.
Prior people management experience.
Qualifications
Strong relationship-building mindset and genuine enjoyment of creating meaningful client experiences.
Highly collaborative environment and enjoyment of working across sales, client-facing, and marketing teams.
Passion for client retention, advocacy, and expanding existing client relationships.
Comfortable presenting to senior client stakeholders and executive leadership.
Experience building or scaling client marketing, customer marketing, advocacy, or loyalty programs.
Experience planning and executing conferences, events, advisory boards, or executive engagement programs.
Data-driven approach to measuring engagement, retention, and marketing impact.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics, or WordPress.
Experience with point-of-care marketing, DTC pharmaceutical advertising, healthcare media, or related healthcare marketing environments.
Experience operating in an annual media buying cycle (Q3 planning, Q4 booking).
Experience running a Client Advisory Board program.

Base Salary: $200,000–$300,000 USD (depending on qualifications)
