About the role
We’re looking for a strategic and customer-centric Director, Client Lead to join our team remotely.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end client relationship strategy and serve as the primary contact and trusted advisor.
- Build long-term partnership roadmaps aligned with client goals and Pollard’s business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth, account profitability, and identify opportunities across Pollard’s products and solutions.
- Lead strategic pursuits and growth initiatives throughout the client lifecycle.
- Align cross-functional teams and product leaders to deliver a seamless, integrated client experience.
- Influence and drive accountability across a matrixed organization without direct authority.
- Advocate for client priorities while balancing business needs, resources, and competing priorities.
- Manage risks, escalations, and issue resolution while strengthening executive-level relationships.
Requirements
- Strategic and relationship-focused, with the ability to build trusted partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- A strong communicator who can influence executive audiences, simplify complexity, and drive alignment across teams.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to bring diverse groups together in a matrixed environment.
- Commercially minded and solutions-focused, with a passion for identifying opportunities and delivering meaningful client outcomes.
Qualifications
- University degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree considered an asset.
- Proven experience managing complex client portfolios and building strategic, long-term partnerships.
- Experience leading consultative sales engagements, complex RFPs, negotiations, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, pricing strategies, and account profitability.
- Deep expertise in at least one core area (e.g., print, digital, retail, or related solutions) with the ability to lead multi-product solution discussions.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive-level audiences and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual English/French considered an asset depending on client needs.
