About the role

The Account Director leads the operational authority on a new and exciting account, overseeing all day-to-day activities. They are known for their ability to ignite passion in their team members and place significant value on collaboration with partners, peers, outside agencies, and clients. Their communication skills allow them to move fluidly and honestly between departments and clients in all types of situations.

What you’ll do

  • Help to lead Known’s approach to full-funnel, 360 advertising on a new and exciting account.
  • Understand the client’s overall business objectives.
  • Work closely with the other members on the Strategy, Social, and Creative and Production teams.
  • Oversee the health and growth of our client relationships.

Who you are and what you have

  • 10+ years of experience at an advertising or marketing agency.
  • Experience leading top-tier client accounts.
  • End-to-end project management experience from statement of work and finance set-up through execution.
  • Strategic, analytical, and proactive thinking about diverse business problems.
  • Experience orchestrating cross-functional project teams, especially virtual teams, with confidence.
  • Proven experience building deep relationships with clients.
  • Ability to manage and be accountable for client satisfaction and retention.
  • Superb communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Passion for managing quality and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with basic Excel and research methodologies and concepts.

Pay Information

The base salary for this position is $135K-$155K. This range is posted in compliance with state and municipal Pay Transparency laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to receive additional Known benefits.
